Projects

Following a unique process, our community projects use creativity to inspire and empower those facing complex personal challenges such as substance abuse, homelessness, forcible displacement and dementia. Building upon the concept of Asset Based Community Development, we begin by identifying creative talents who could benefit from the nourishment and support of their skills. Working in collaboration, together we create books and magazines to amplify these voices – using paper and ink as a circular model for change. We strive to create a lasting legacy, igniting in our collaborators such a passion that they advance their own development alongside our continued support. You can learn more about each project, and the change they’ve incited, by visiting our impact page.

Our work often addresses issues which should be better supported by the state, yet we receive no continuous public funds or state aid. As such, for this vital work to continue we are reliant upon the support of an international collective of members who enjoy a series of discounts, opportunities and events in thanks for their support. Most importantly, they make it possible for us to publish voices too often silenced and use paper and ink as a circular model for change.
