Issue 002: Elements

Featuring a broad spectrum of creatives, from established names to up and coming talent, issue 002 discusses the concept of ‘elements.’ Amsterdam based collage artist Vesna Vrdoljak looks to the sea to explore the theme in her ongoing search for elegant connections between apparently inconsequential subjects. In Love and War on the Rooftops, Roisin Maire Taylor discusses how the community of Tripoli is using creativity to build reconciliation amidst bitter conflict. Our gaze is again cast around the world with breathtakingly beautiful photo essays from Morgane Bigault, who considers the disintegrating cliché of the American dream; and Tim Craig, who takes us on a journey through the beaten down back streets of Mumbai in his feature, Hubble. Photography from Jaz Jagdeo and Holly Wesley supports the story of our first social project, the Creative Riot.
