Independent film and video production company High Tide are a duo most definitely on the rise. Since evolving their brand from an early stage iteration they continue to grow for strength to strength, recently collaborating with the likes of Underbelly, the Edinburgh International Film Festival and Edinburgh Hogmanay to create engaging content perfectly tailored to the respective audience.
Firm friends since High Tide shot our first boom project, the Creative Riot, we were privy to the brand’s rapid evolution. It soon became clear that a strategic brand extension was ever more readily required as the size and scope of High Tide’s projects grew.
Working from a strong logo designed by Jakub Michalski, we collaborated closely with the High Tide crew to develop a rigid set of brand guidelines and fully strategic brand manifesto; together, these ensure that all company comms are cohesive, aligned and harmonious whilst illustrating the importance of strong communications, across all platforms, at all times.
“Constantly talking isn’t necessarily communicating.” – Charlie Kaufman
Our process involved a fully interactive team workshop, the outcomes of which were distilled into a brand manifesto which set the pace for all new brand guidelines. These interwove the company’s vision, principles and personality throughout each and every decision making point, ensuring High Tide’s empowering sense of adventure was at the fore and consistently communicated with ambition and style.
